Athletics

In athletics, you do different sports:

  • running

    Athletes run a certain distance.

For example, 500 metres or 1.5 kilometres.

  • long jump

The athletes jump into a large sand pit.

The judges measure how far they have jumped.

  • shot put

Athletes have a small steel ball.

They throw the ball into a field.

    The judges measure

the distance the ball has been thrown.
