National Games Berlin 2022
The Special Olympics National Games take place in Berlin from 19 to 24 June 2022. Around 4,000 athletes will then celebrate a festival of encounters in the German capital and compete in 20 sports.
The National Games are an important milestone on the way to the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023, the world's largest inclusive sports event.

In less than a month, the National Games will start with the big Opening Ceremony on 19 June at "Stadion An der Alten Försterei". We are excited to reveal: The Berlin cult band MiA. will play their hits "Tanz der Moleküle" and "Fallschirm" as the main act of the music program!
We spoke to Andrea Standecker, part of Team Sports and longtime member of the Special Olympics family, to learn more about Unified Sports®, what makes it special for her and how Unified judo works.
Today in exactly one month time, on 19 June 2022, the National Games in Berlin will start with the highly anticipated Opening Ceremony. To make sure our athletes can look forward to a packed stadium and loud cheering, a new and inclusive event campaign was launched to promote the Games.
