Application deadline for volunteers ends in March

#Berlin2022 calling: You can still apply as a volunteer for the Special Olympics National Games Berlin 2022 until 25 March 2022.

From 19 to 24 June 2022, more than 4,000 athletes will compete in more than 20 sports in Berlin. A celebration of inclusion. The organizing committee will bring a more than 3,000 volunteers on board to provide the best conditions for the athletes. They are the basis for a successful event.

According to our claim ‘unbeatable together’, we want to create a unique atmosphere for all participants together with many volunteers.

Join us and experience something unique!”, says Sven Albrecht, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023 and Managing Director of Special Olympics Germany.

Any person over the age of 16 can register. Joint applications from families, clubs or companies are also possible. In addition, people with and without disabilities can form a tandem team.

The National Games will be followed next year by the Special Olympics World Games Berlin 2023. More than 7,000 athletes from 190 delegations from all over the world will come to the world's largest inclusive sports event in the German capital. Up to 20,000 volunteers will join them, more than at the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
