Today in exactly one month time, on 19 June 2022, the National Games in Berlin will start with the highly anticipated Opening Ceremony. To make sure our athletes can look forward to a packed stadium and loud cheering, a new and inclusive event campaign was launched to promote the Games.
Maybe you even saw it already. If not, keep your eyes open and celebrate with us if you do! Our event campaign is already online on various digital channels and from next week onwards, thanks to our partner Wall it will be on view in the whole city of Berlin.
Our goal: To make the invisible visible and to offer our athletes the big stage.
For the campaign, we worked together with Special Olympics athletes and people with ID from all over Germany. In four motives, they present their sports, advertising that everyone should visit the National Games from 19 to 24 June 2022, watch incredible sport and celebrate a party of inclusion together.
By this, we want to achieve a public change of reception of people with ID: We want to show the uniqueness, capability and talent of every single person.
Therefore, if you are currently in Berlin and Potsdam, look out for our posters from 24 June onwards and increase the anticipation for the Special Olympics National Games Berlin 2021 with us!
